I must beg your forgiveness, dear friends. I speak to those of you I have not added as my 'friends' until this point in time. It was neither negligence nor spite; but rather a lack of familiarity with how this journaling system works. If I could have an aside for a moment, could any of you charming ladies tell me how one edits one's posts? I have noticed several appalling grammatical and spelling errors in my previous entry; and I must needs correct them forthwith. Back to the matter of adding you as my 'friend' -- this will be my only public entry. If you are one of the delightful ladies or gentlemen of the Revolving Doors 'board' then I will not hesitate to embrace you with open arms and without question. If you are not, then it is likely that this will not be the case. This is not done out of malice; merely out of a sense of self preservation, and more importantly to my heart the preservation of my own Thom. For in this journal I will discuss matters that some will consider shocking and most wicked, and it is entirely possible that were the wrong eyes to see my musings then my Thom and I would be the object of fear and hatred and likely hunted down as though we were mere brutes. Lest you think me paranoid, I will say with a heavy heart that such a thing has happened to us before. The memory is unpleasant and not one I care to speak of. Perhaps I will one day write an account for all of my dear friends, but not now. Recalling it would put me in low spirits for the remainder of the night. Which is not to say that I will necessarily dismiss any new acquaintances out of hand, but that I will proceed very cautiously.
